slightly random question here. I have a Mini Cooper S (R56) and the standard antenna on the car is too tall for my car to fit in to the garage.

Where could I get a replacement antenna, that will be cheap, will not reduce signal quality too much, and be as short as possible?

I need to help a customer expand there current network They want to add another 24 ports in a outbuilding

They have a server that runs Centos. There are 2 x 24port Net Gear GS724T switches everything is connected with CAT5 cables or patch leads. The switches are not configured

Can I use CAT5 for the backbone between the buildings (25m) ? Should I invest in fiber optic links between the switches? They dont mind spending money (with in reason) but at the end of the day it all runs to a 1000mbs connection on the server. The server is mainly for file sharing of office documents.

I have to purchase another 24 or 48 port switch and a wireless ap for the out building.
What is the ideal set-up on the hardware side for about 70 devices.?

I've tried they iStore etc and apparently I cant get it form them and have to pay in the region of R3200 for a replacement keyboard! Insane!!! So I decided that the best time to go and relieve myself of R750 (two car registrations) at the traffic department is 9:45 in the morning.

The old yellow paper (used to be white) that says the debit/credit card machines are "temporary" off-line did not bother me, they have never been on-line and I brought cold dirty cash. Perhaps I should spread the word there is lots of cash and no security - but thats a story for another day...

What really amused me is that the queue was not that long yet there was only 1 teller open out of the 4 that could be open. After 30 minutes some random guy says he just want to apologise that we have to wait but they have a virus on the tellers and even opening up the one is a risk they are raking to accommodate us. Ah thanks bru, thats so sweet of you guys.

Really?! A Virus?! on a machine that should have no access to the internet, have no working removable storage device options and be so secure no one can remotely access it? After all the money the traffic department spent on IT how on earth do they get a virus?

Or was is a human "virus"? The kind that keeps you from wanting to go to work on a Friday?
